Burris Getting In
It looks like Roland Burris will be allowed to join the U.S. Senate after all. Like most groups of 80-year-old men, the existing senators felt kinder after they took their medication and had a nap.

Lexus is about to roll out a new system that lets cars talk to their drivers. Of course, what people really want is a car that can talk to all the other drivers.

Reporter Leonard Downie Jr. has spent most of his life in the newsroom of The Washington Post. Now he's venturing into fiction by writing a novel and taking a new job at al Jazeera.



Presidents Lunch
President-elect Obama had lunch yesterday with President George W. Bush, and former Presidents Bush, Clinton and Carter. And after having that lunch, it's no surprise that Mr. Obama's new top priority is cutting government spending for elderly retirees.



Walmart Down
Walmart's sales were down in December... mostly because shoppers spent more time trampling than buying.
