September 19th


1778: The Continental Congress passes the first budget of the United States. It goes overbudget on Sept. 20th.


1796: President George Washington's farewell address is printed across America as an open letter to the public. He then returns to private life and dating his favorite slaves.


1959: Nikita Khrushchev is barred from visiting Disneyland... crushing Goofy's long-held plans to defect to the Soviet Union.


2006: The Thai military stages a coup in Bangkok. The Constitution is revoked and martial law is declared. On the bright side, everyone starts getting their orders of Pad Kee Mow a little faster.
