During a news conference in Baghdad Sunday, an Iraqi reporter angrily threw his shoes at President Bush. It's not clear if the reporter did it because of the war or because he has 15,000 shares of General Motors.

Carter Meets Hamas
Former President Jimmy Carter met in Syria Sunday with Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal. But the meeting ending in disappointment after Meshaal refused Carter's request to release captured Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit and then refused everyone else's request to kidnap Jimmy Carter.



Home Price Plunge
A new report shows that American homes lost $2 trillion in value in 2008. That's $1 trillion because of the mortgage mess, and another $1 trillion because of really crappy looking Christmas lights.



Spitzer Scammed?
One of the possible victims of hedge fund king Bernie Madoff's ponzi scam is former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer. Of course, Spitzer is used to paying a lot just to get screwed.

The Federal Reserve may decide reduce interest rates to 0% at its meeting this week. Even if all interest is about to go away, Mafia leaders would like everyone in America to know that they're still planning on breaking legs.
