Governor Arrested
Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich has been charged with trying to sell the state's vacant U.S. Senate seat in exchange for financial favors. Finally, a politician who knows how to run a business!


The U.S. Attorney in the case says there is no evidence that President-elect Obama or the transition team had anything to do with Blagojevich's scam. Obama only knows how to spend money.


Blagojevich allegedly wanted a number of valuable items in return for the senate appointment. They included campaign donations, lucrative jobs, and a more pronounceable last name.
