Palin Defense
Republican leaders are stepping up to defend Sarah Palin. Some are citing her successful record as governor, some are calling for her privacy to be respected, and some are challenging the cable news anchors to a duel.

Republican leaders are reminding everyone that Sarah Palin and her family are from a small town, with small-town values... where there's really nothing else to do but get pregnant.

Tonight at the Republican convention, Sarah Palin will make her case for why she should be vice president... mostly by keeping her family in the convention hall and not allowing any of them to get pregnant for at least 45 minutes.

Levi Johnston, the 17-year-old father of Bristol Palin's baby, is expected to be at the Republican convention tonight. Johnston is hoping that being in front of millions of witnesses will keep the Palins from killing him.

Ron Paul Mobbed
Thousands flocked to Minneapolis yesterday to rally for breakaway presidential candidate Ron Paul. There were so many people there, the tin foil hat concessions sold out in less than 15 minutes.

New Orleans Power Out
Thousands of New Orleans residents are still without power in the wake of Hurricane Gustav. Considering the quality of the reporting on the storms on TV... they are truly the lucky ones.
