Chinese Cars Nixed
Super-low cost Chinese autos set to be sold in the U.S. have hit a snag as regulators have deemed them not road worthy... not a surprise since Chinese drivers aren't road worthy in this country either.


Countrywide Sold
Bank of America is buying Countrywide for $4 billion. To make the deal, B. of A. is borrowing the $4 billion at 4.25% for the first three years, but then it adjusts higher every year after that.



TSA Seizures Down
The Transportation Safety Administration says its agents are finding fewer weapons on airline travelers in recent months. That's because most of us are using our guns and knives to kill ourselves while we're hopelessly stuck in the security line.



Katrina Money Unspent
Most of the $4.5 billion in Katrina relief funds have not been spent... so the government is considering throwing money instead of beads at people in the Mardi Gras parade.
