Pitt in Nola
Brad Pitt is in New Orleans today to follow up on a promise to help make affordable and sustainable homes. It would also be nice if he could do something to make affordable and sustainable movies.

Abuse Payouts
The L.A. archdiocese starts distributing $500 million in sexual abuse case related damages today... which explains the huge line of people camping out in front of the archdiocese with numbered wristbands last night.

As a convenience, all abuse claimants from the Los Angeles area can receive payments both from the Church and the Michael Jackson estate in one easy registration process.

Iran Nukes
The U.S. government now says Iran won't be able to build a nuclear weapon until 2010 at the earliest. The news is calming millions of Americans with adjustable rate mortgages that aren't due to reset until 2011.

Teacher Pardoned
Sudan's president has pardoned A British school teacher jailed for allowing her students to name a teddy bear Muhammad. The progressive government wanted to clear her of those charges so it could still stone her to death for not wearing the proper head covering.

Imus Returns
Don Imus returned to the radio today with two black comedians on his on-air team, but it will be hard for either of them to get as many laughs as Al Sharpton.

National Debt
The national debt has now ballooned to about $30,000 for each man, woman, child and infant in the United States... which is why the best thing we can do to lower everyone's share is to keep importing illegal immigrants.
