Obama on Weiner
President Obama is speaking out on Weinegate saying: "If it were me, I'd step down." And: "If it were me, I'd work a little more on my abs before taking anymore nude shots of myself."



Greek Debt
Greece's debt crisis is so bad, it has to pay 26% on a two-year loan... of course that's what always happens when you borrow from the Corleone family.



IMF Decision
The IMF has just announce that Israel's Stanley Fischer is disqualified from getting the top job because he is too old. The IMF doesn't like Israelis between the ages of "0 and Dead."



Church Robbery
Someone has stolen an 800-year-old relic from a Catholic church in Los Angeles. It's the only thing in California that's older than Jerry Brown.

Video game sales hit a four year low in May... looks like someone finally found a girlfriend!

1938: Action Comics issue one is released, introducing Superman… and the concept of acceptable men in tights.



1954: U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower signs a bill into law that places the words "under God" into the U.S. Pledge of Allegiance… angering God, who had been hoping for a mention in the Star Spangled Banner.



1985: TWA Flight 847 is hijacked by Hezbollah shortly after take-off from Athens, Greece. But since this was the Athens airport, the only passengers on the plane were would-be hijackers from other terrorist organizations.
