Russia's president has ordered an end to military operations against Georgia. The Kremlin decided that if three days of fighting couldn't boost the price of oil, they might as well give up.

Despite Russia's announced cease fire, fighting still continues in Georgia. The Russians claim this is just part of the added "injury time."



No Taxes
A new study shows that 68% of foreign companies doing business in the United States did not pay corporate taxes. Apparently, those tax forms are located in the same aisle where they sell toothpaste and deodorant.



Pelosi Relents
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says she will now allow a vote on oil drilling... mostly because she just realized she needs more gas to get to her plastic surgeon's office.
