Immigrant Marches
Thousands of immigrants took to the streets Tuesday in a large nationwide demonstration. The marches were planned to feed into international May Day celebrations... and "sweeps week" ratings for Lou Dobbs Tonight.


Secret Shiite Office
The U.S. military says Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki has created a secret office within his government that carries out an extreme Shiite agenda. That agenda includes supporting Shiite militias, undermining Sunni members of parliament, and "abstinence-only" sex ed.

Congress sent their Iraq war withdrawal bill to President Bush Tuesday. The Democrats believe the best way to respond to the civil war in Iraq is to start one here in the United States.


Dow Jones Offer
FOX has made $5 billion offer for Dow Jones & Company, the publisher of the Wall Street Journal. If the deal goes through, Dow Jones shareholders will make a huge profit, FOX's new all-business channel will get a boost, and CNBC will have to find its own stories for once.


BP CEO Steps Down
British Petroleum CEO John Browne has resigned after several newspapers said they plan to publish details about an alleged affair he had with a man. I'm not sure why this is a scandal; everyone knows big oil executives like screwing people in the ass.


Miss America Sting
An undercover sex sting on Long Island that used Miss America as bait may be in trouble because the beauty queen doesn't want to testify against the suspects. It turns out she's not comfortable with public speaking in court unless she can make up for it with a killer performance in the evening gown competition.


Duke Business Cheaters
Duke Business School has disciplined 34 of its first-year MBA students for cheating. Now the students must decide whether to appeal the punishments, or just take those executive job offers they just got from every Fortune 500 company in America.
