Jobs Dead
Steve Jobs died yesterday at the age of 56. He will be buried as soon as Apple unveils its new iCoffin sometime next week.



Unions and Kids
Union members joined the young demonstrators in the "Occupy Wall Street" protest yesterday. Now the kids are hoping the union guys will teach them how to not work and still get paid for it!



50 Year Wait
It turns out that if Harry Reid's plan to add a 5% tax on millionaires is passed, it will still take 50 years to pay for the Obama jobs bill. Waiting half a century for a payoff is only something accepted by Cubs fans.



Second Solyndra Loan
Newly released emails show Solyndra was about to get another half-billion dollar loan from the government even though auditors were warning the company was about to collapse. But the only failing entity still raking in that kind of money is the Obama re-election campaign.



Holder Lied
New documents show that Attorney General Eric Holder lied to Congress about what he knew about the ATF "Fast and Furious" program. After hearing how much Holder lied under oath, President Obama is immediately transferring him to his economic team.





October 6th


1923: The great powers of World War I withdraw from Istanbul. The not-so-great powers stick aroung for another 25 years.


2000: Yugoslav president Slobodan Milošević resigns. His accent marks get a job at a local cab stand.


2007: Jason Lewis completes the first human-powered circumnavigation of the globe. There's no word on how he got the humans into his gas tank.
