U.S.-Russia Deal
The U.S. and Russia are close to a spy-swapping deal that will send several accused agents back to Russia and LeBron James to Miami.



Krugman's Mania
Liberal economist and Nobel laureate Paul Krugman says America needs to spend money to save money. With that logic, Krugman is apparently hoping to win another Nobel Prize for selling used cars.



Pot Prices
A new study shows that legalizing marijuana would lower pot prices by as much as 80%... but reduce supplies and raise prices of Doritos by at least 150%.



Millionaire Verdict
A jury in California has awarded the British company that created "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?" $270 million in a legal dispute over royalties... no word yet on how much the court will award the millions of Americans who still watch that piece of junk.



Heat Wave
The heat wave continues to blast most of the U.S. It's so hot NBA players are removing their shirts, pants and tattoos.




July 8th

1680: The first confirmed tornado in America kills a maid servant in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Students at the nearby Harvard College fail to save her as they are afraid of girls.

1776: The Declaration of Independence is read aloud in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and the Liberty Bell is rung. Local Phillies fans rush to the scene to boo.

1948: The United States Air Force accepts its first female recruits into a program called Women in the Air Force (WAF), alternatively known as "Project Aerial Upskirt."
