1945: Cologne is captured by American troops, but the Germans hold on to Aftershave for another six weeks.

1946: Ho Chi Minh signs an agreement with France which recognizes Vietnam as an autonomous state… proving once and for all that as long as you treat everyone as equals, there will never be any wars.

1983: The first United States Football League game is played. Everybody lost.
